The City of Murfreesboro conducts its own solid waste collection.  Everyone within the community is required to have garbage collection.

Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside with your regular garbage service days.

If you have large items to be picked up, please contact City Hall for instructions and to be scheduled for pickup.

A recycling bin is located at the corner of S Court St and S Kelley St. (Between Hawkins and Municipal Building)
