If the prospect of striking it rich intrigues you, the Crater of Diamonds State Park on the south edge of Murfreesboro would be your destination of choice!  Crater of Diamonds State Park is the only diamond mine in the world where a person can search for diamonds and keep their finding.  The mine turns out about 1,000 diamonds a year to excited tourists and seasoned park regulars.  According to the estimates by the Arkanss Geological Survey, it will continue to do so for nearly 500 years!  Diamond hunting is a year-round activity at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.
